INDICATIONS

• Treatment and prevention of vitamin D deficiency/insufficiency

• Treatment and prevention of vitamin D deficiency/insufficiency

• Treatment of osteomalacia in adults

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

For oral use

Children, Adults, and Elderly:
 

• Treatment of vitamin D deficiency: 1 capsule of cholecalciferol to be given once weekly for about 8 weeks to restore serum 25(OH)D level to normal i.e. 30 ng/mL.

• To maintain vitamin D sufficiency: 1 capsule of cholecalciferol to be given on a monthly basis. Or, as prescribed by the physician.
